This year Uzmetkombinat has developed the production of a dozen new products.

As part of technical and technological modernization Uzmetkombinat has equipped the facilities with modern from leading companies in Austria, Germany, Italy, the U.S. and Switzerland. For example, nonferrous metals shop received equipment for melting and casting copper and its alloys together with the installation of flue gas cleaning, automated slitting machines and cleaning and etching lines.

This year alone the company mastered the production of a dozen new products. For example, the rolling shop No2 launched production of several types of steel hot-rolled reinforced concrete structures with periodic profile, hot-rolled equal leg L-bars; steel wire shop launched production of compression and extension springs; nonferrous metals shop produces new types of copper and brass foil, radiator tape, electrical repair shop started manufacture of multifunction energy saving devices of up to 200 kW power capacity.

Currently, the plant continues modernization of drop-hammer shop for scrap processing, reconstruction of rolling mill furnace and continuous casting machine, with the introduction of energy-saving technologies as well as production of thermal insulating materials on the basis of basalt in Tashkent region.
