A ceremony of awarding players and coaches of Uzbekistan U-16 and Uzbekistan Amputee team was held in Tashkent on Thursday, 18 October 2012.

As reported earlier, Uzbekistan U-16 won the Asian Championship, which was held in Iran on 22 September-6 October and booked its place to the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE.

Uzbekistan Amputee team won all its seven matches in the World Cup in Russia and claimed its third title in a row.

During the awarding ceremony, members of amputee team received money prize of US$3,000 each, while coaches got US$4,000.

At the same time, members of Uzbekistan U-16 received 4 million soums, TV-sets and laptops, Uzbekistan Football Federation said. (Source: UzDaily.com)
