The works by Pablo Picasso and Nadejda Kashina from funds of the State museum of arts in Uzbekistan are presented at vernissage in Tashkent
The State museum of arts of Uzbekistan opened exhibition \"Pablo Picasso and Nadejda Kashina. Dialogue of culture of East and West\".

It united ceramic works of the Spanish master of brush and graphics works of Uzbek artist, common features and techniques of which you can see with the naked eye.

Pablo Picasso is a famous Spanish artist, sculptor, graphic artist, ceramist. The master who lived, as if the whole world is a piece of clay in his hands, and the power of talent enough to give it appropriate form and tone.

In this exposition he expresses his art in a form of ceramic works: decorative plates, pitchers in the form of women\'s head, vase-owl. By the way, just owl is Picasso\'s favorite image in ceramics, which is always spontaneous, bright and stylized.

-In these works you can instantly see the style of Pablo Picasso. This is hard strokes, unusual shapes and colors. Picasso puts his genius even in such rough matter, as the clay. Having become a world famous artist and sculptor, Picasso at the top of his voice announced himself a master of ceramics, - the Director of the State Museum of arts of Uzbekistan Vasilya Fayzieva says.

Plastic lines of presented ceramics by Picasso look good in combination with the graphics of Uzbek master, his contemporaries Nadejda Kashina.

Paints of Kashina are expressive and technique of their execution is striking. Continuous lines create the image, the silhouettes, which move and speak in the language of life. Presented works include \"Kidnapping of Europe\", \"Melon Bazaar\", \"Forest king\", \"Poet and Muse\", \"But I don\'t want to praise\", by motives of poem of A. Pushkin \"Eugene Onegin\" and others.

Besides, the visitors of the exhibition are presented greeting cards, written and drawn by an artist in 1959.

- The exposition of the exhibition combined 26 unique objects of art: 12 ceramic works of Pablo Picasso and 14 graphic works of Nadejda Kashina. As you can see, works of Kashina are very reminiscent the graphics of the Spanish painter. It is not a coincidence. Picasso\'s art very inspired the Uzbek artist. Their lines, technique are very similar to each other. In her paintings Kashina also showed the beauty of Uzbekistan, its culture, - the head of the Department of Russian and Western European art of the State Museum of arts of Uzbekistan Kultasheva Nigora told us.

The opening of the exhibition was preceded with the huge preparatory work. The works presented here for a long time have been the decoration of the funds of the State Museum of arts of Uzbekistan.

Moreover, they are known all over the world. It can be said that it is a harmonious union of talents of the two greatest masters – of Spain and Uzbekistan, evidence of the fact that the language of art is understandable to all people.

The exhibition will be open until January 10, 2013. (Source: UzReport.com)
