Ahmarov was first of all the master of monumental painting: majority of his easel works were the sort of variations, fragments of monumental works, which served the ground for perfecting and forming his ideas of future frescos (portrait ‘Rahima’, ‘Bahor’, ‘Wounded Soldier’). Most part of easel works of Chingiz Ahmarov is portraits of famous people – artists, scholars.

The canvases of Chingiz Ahmarov spread the feeling of life-asserting force, love for life and beauty. He glorified the beauty of the east and prepared a place for himself in the annals of our art as a great master, the painter of high class.” (Source: Uzbekistan Today newspaper)
