President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on 14 August on awarding the winners of the 30th summer Olympic Games held in London.

According to the document, member of the sports team of Uzbekistan in judo Sobirov Rishod Rashidovich and member of the sports team of Uzbekistan in freestyle wrestling Tigiyev Soslan Vaznoyevich have been awarded with the title Uzbekiston Iftihori (Pride of Uzbekistan).

Atoyev Abbos Abdurazzokovich, member of sports team of Uzbekistan in boxing received title of Honored Sportsman of Uzbekistan.

Taymazov Artur Borisovich, member of sports team of Uzbekistan in freestyle wrestling was awarded with the order of El-yurt Hurmati (Respect of the Nation). (Source: UzA news agency)
