Development Urge: Electronic learning in progress around the nation
The Center for Development of Multimedia Education Programs has had a ‘colleague’ – Center for Introduction of Electronic Learning to Education Institutions. However, each center has its own tasks and goals.

Center for Development of Multimedia Education Programs was established in 2006. Early this year the ceremony of official opening of a new three-floored building of the center has held. It has cutting-edge studios for shooting and dubbing of training films and videos, producing of multimedia training programs, new electronic textbooks, virtual laboratories and other electronic training guides for schoolchildren. The center gets also involved in managing the official site of the Ministry of Public Education, at which all resources created by specialists are allocated. The center also maintains several services of this Internet resource, in particular, reference sections on preschool institutions and schools web-boghcha and web-maktab, as well as distance learning section.

The Center for Introduction of Electronic Learning will serve high education institutions, academic lyceums and professional colleges. It is tasked with management and development of the network Electronic Learning that was launched in September last year. The network unites 83 institutions involved in development of higher education and which will be joined with all institutions of secondary special, professional education. Electronic learning should turn into the network filled with various training materials that would be available in all education institutions. It will have virtual laboratory, electronic learning resources of higher education institutions, elements of distance learning will be introduced into learning process with the help of it and video conferences organized.

Thus, two organizations are to operate in the country, responsible for introduction and development of electronic learning in the system of school, secondary special, professional and higher education. They prove to be efficient as they also deal with advanced training of pedagogical cadres on application in the learning process of electronic educational resources.
