Vocational training center launched in Tashkent
Vocational training center has been launched in Sergeli district of Tashkent city. The center was organized at the participation of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The center was created in line with the governmental resolution On measures on creation of Vocational training center in Tashkent with participation of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) from 13 August 2007.
The center is expected to have important role in professional education of Uzbekistan. It will assist people to gain new skills and specializations.
Annually some 360 talented youth will study at the center on such direction and electronics, machinery, repair of cars, information technologies.
Theoretical lessons will make up 30-35%, practical lessons 65-70%. Students will also undergo internship in their future workplace for 3-4 months. (Source: UzDaily.com)
