Tashkent was included to the list of the best cities of the world, which was developed by analytical company Economist Intelligence Unit and research firm BuzzData.

Capital city of Uzbekistan claimed the 58th place among 140 cities of the world in the list of the Best Cities. Tashkent was only representative of Central Asia in the list.

Economist Intelligence Unit and BuzzData developed the list based on such criteria as population density, air quality, green zones, pollution concentration, environment, city distance, cultural values, etc.
