Uzbek grandmaster Sergey Kayumov won the silver medal in the international blitz chess tournament “GP Blitz Chess Tournament 2012” held in the United Arab Emirates.

In the course of this prestigious competition, which involved more than fifty players from ten countries, he has won over the representatives of the Philippines, Syria, Ukraine, Egypt and tied with owners’ representative Abdulla Faysal.
