Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan adopted a law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan” on 21 June 2012.

The press service of the lower house of parliament said that the document was developed to improve payment of labour of various categories of citizens based on their jobs and it harmonizes legislative acts in the area.

The amendments are introduced to Labour Code, Criminal Code, Tax Code of Uzbekistan, law “on farm entities”, law “On private enterprise”, etc.

MPs passed the law, which will be directed to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for further consideration. (Source:UzDaily.com)
