Asian Championship Ended
About 500 athletes from more than 20 countries of our continent fought for the victory at the Asian Sambo Championship among men, women, youth and juniors held in Tashkent sports and recreation complex Jar.
In sambo competitions among men, our experienced athletes Shavkat Djurayev, Eldor Gulomov and Erkin Doniyorov have won golden medals, Ravshan Turakulov took bronze medal.
Among women, Shahlo Yuldasheva became gold medal owner, Madinabonu Salohiddinova, Obida Ollodustova and Nilufar Davlatova owned the silver medal. Nodira Gulova, Shohida Nazarova, Shohsanam Safarova, Elzara Umarova and Maftuna Esonova took bronze.
In competitions held among youth and juniors, Jahongir Raufov, Davlat Hamroyev, Nuriddin Tilavoldiyev, Kamoliddin Rasulov, Izzat Bekmatov, Rahmon Boyturayev rose to the highest step of the podium. Bronze medals went to Jahongir Rahimov, Azamat Fayzullayev and Oybek Kodirov.
Among girls, Malika Mirzayeva, Munisa Murodova, Gulnoza Ziyoyeva and Veronika Kovaltsova owned the title of champions. Silver medals were taken by Rukhsora Umarova, Arofat Abdurahmonova, Chinora Kuchkorova, Dilfuza Temirova and Sveta Islomova. Viktoriya Ozdayeva, Ugiloy Aminova and Mavsuma Djurayeva occupied the third step of the podium.
In competitions in combat sambo, our athletes Tolmas Tukliyev, Temur Sultonov, Islom Azimov and Istam Kudratov proved that they are unsurpassed in the continent. (Source: UzA news agency)
