Boeing is considering opportunity to open a regional center on repairing and maintenance of airplanes from composite materials in Uzbekistan, Martin Bentrott, Vice President of Boeing Commercial Airplanes on sales in the Middle East, Central Asia and India said in Tashkent.

He said that Boeing highly rates professionalism and high level of pilots and engineers of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, with which the US firm cooperates for over 15 years. Uzbekistan Airways Technics has both capacities and skilled employees for repairing and maintenance of aircrafts from composite materials, he added.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said that the cooperation of two companies on creation of the Center on repairing and maintenance of airplanes from composite materials is another step for developing bilateral relations.

Launch of the center will allow Uzbekistan Havo Yollari to provide new services for all airlines in the region, which use Boeing aircrafts. (Source: UzDaily.com)
