A concert devoted to the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea was held at Turkiston Palace.

Friendship and art evening was organized by the Ministry of culture, sports and tourism of the Republic of Korea, Embassy of South Korea in our country jointly with the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the opening of the event, the Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tursunali Kuziyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Chon De Van noted that the cooperation in cultural-humanitarian direction between our countries is developing consistently along with other spheres.

Great success of the exhibitions of Uzbek artists and photographers, concerts, as well as the festivals with the participation of the Uzbek artists, and Days of Korean cinema, art exhibitions and other cultural and educational activities held in Uzbekistan evidence the sequential development of cultural and humanitarian ties.

Variety of songs and dances about Motherland, friendship, peace, beauty, love for nature and human were performed. Presentations on the life, traditions, customs and noble aspirations of the Korean people aroused great interest in the audience. (Source: UzA news agency)
