In 2012, enterprises of Uzdonmahsulot company will produce commercial products for more than 1.1 trillion soums (official exchange rate 1 USD=1862.03 UZS) with a gain of 9% compared to 2011. In the first quarter the company produced 265.1 billion soums worth of goods.

According to the company\'s chief specialist Khairulla Salimov, localization of production is the priority. In the framework of sectoral programs on the optimization of imports, partnership with republican manufacturers of import replacing products established in 2012 The International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange held in October last year the company\'s enterprises signed 53 contract for 2012 worth 5.7 billion soums, and 25 contracts valued at more than 4.9 billion soums were concluded with Donmahsulotplast for the supply of polypropylene bags.

Considerable amount of work for the industry is conducted by LLC Tegirmon-Novvoyhona Jihozlari, which is established on the basis of the Tashkent Experimental Mechanical Plant (TashOMZ). The staff of the company is currently producing more than 50 types of processing equipment and spare parts for the milling and elevating industry. The company signed 15 contracts for 305 million soums, 5 contracts for 250 million soums with LLC Zarif-Shavkat for the supply of the limestone flour for feed production.

In the first quarter implementation of agreements concluded within the Cooperation Exchange amounted to 109%, industry enterprises purchased goods worth 1.5 billion soums, H. Salimov said.

Production output is provided by 55 mills, 45 feed, 40 bakeries, 25 macaroni, 63 seed-cleaning plants and five plants for the production of grits.

A sectoral program of modernization and technical re-equipment of existing enterprises and the introduction of new production facilities has been developed. It is aimed at reducing production costs, introduction of modern energy saving technologies. In 2008-2011, six mills in Jizzakh, Kagan, Karakul, Cuvée, Pa., Khavast, 10 feed plants in Tashkent, Karshi, Uchkurgane, Zhambai, Nukus and other cities were updated.

In 2009-2011, 42 mini-bakeries were put into operation, 33 were equipped with modern technological production lines of the German company Wachtel, 9 mini-bakeries of Russian company Viniks. In 2012, 17 seed-cleaning plants were modernized and four new shops were built. All of them are equipped with modern technological equipment of German company Petkus.

In 2012, the industry implements 13 investment projects. Modernization and reconstruction are aimed at improving the efficiency of milling and animal feed production, consistent reduction of production costs, the introduction of modern energy saving technologies.

The State retains the shareholding of 26%, transferred to the authorized capital Uzdonmahsulot at the enterprises of strategic importance.

In 2011 it was decided to increase the authorized capital of Uzdonmahsulot from 4.5 billion to 7.4 billion soums by increasing the nominal value of shares from 4,900 to 8,000 soums by means of the 2.8 billion soums profit received in 2010. (Source: UzReport.com)
