\"Kamalak jilosi\" Children\'s Paintings Contest Held
Republican show-contest of children’s paintings “Kamalak jilosi” (The rainbow shine) was held at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Art of Uzbekistan.
The event has been initiated by Soglom Avlod Uchun (For the healthy generation) International Charity Fund, Ministry of Public Education, Academy of Art of Uzbekistan, Children’s Public Fund Sen Yolgiz Emassan (You are not alone) and the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in our country.
The best works drawn by inmates of the Children’s Houses of the country were identified.
The Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Kholbekov, chairman of the Foundation Soglom Avlod Uchun S.Inomova, chairman of the Academy of Art A.Nuriddinov and others spoke at the opening of the event.
The traditional show-contest “Kamalak jilosi” promotes to strengthen the interests of children to a national art, identify, encourage and support the young talents.
More than 1,500 pupils of orphanages of the country have presented their handmade paintings, which reflected the themes of family, national traditions and values and the scenic nature of Uzbekistan.
The winners in the field of fine and applied arts were identified by the age of 4 to 10 and 11 to 16 years.
During the contest, the Fast Draw game show was also held and the winners were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts. (Source: UzA news agency)
