The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the Speaker of the Consultative Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Mohammad Al Al-Shaikh on 24 April 2012.

Prospective directions of developing bilateral relations in political, trade-economic and cultural spheres were considered at the meeting It was noted that inter-parliamentary exchanges play an important role in deepening Uzbek-Saudi relations.

The parties confirmed their interest in increasing mutual trade, strengthening financial and investment cooperation, widening mutually beneficial exchanges between business representatives of the two countries.

The sides also exchanged views on other significant international issues.
