Foreign Minister of Ukraine will visit Uzbekistan in 2005, an Ukrainian envoy to Uzbekistan said on Thursday, 27 January.

Anatoliy Kasyanenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Uzbekistan, held a press conference dedicated to results of 2004 and plans for this year.

Kasyanenko said that the foreign ministries of two countries would sign an agreement.

He said that it is planned to hold joint session of Uzbek-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission in 2005. Within framework of the session, the Uzbek Prime Minister will pay a visit to Ukraine, he added.
