First sessions of the newly formed Legislative Chamber and Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will open in Tashkent on 27 January.

The session of Legislative chamber, lower house, will be at 10:00 at the building of Legislative Chamber and the meeting of Senate at 15:00 at newly constructed building of upper house, Central Election Commission said on Tuesday.

The election to the Legislative Chamber was held in two stages with the first one on 26 December and second on 9 January. The total of 120 MPs will start work in the Legislative Chamber, and 100 in the Senate.
