A charity project “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-toys” has been presented within a roundtable “Protection of family and traditional alues in globalization epoch: experience of Uzbekistan” in New York, Fund Forum said.

The event, which was organized by Fund Forum in cooperation with the Permanent mission of Uzbekistan at the UN and Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, was dedicated to presentation of the main goals and tasks of the State Programme “The Year of Family” in Uzbekistan.

The event was held at the UN Plaza and attended by experts and scholars of various US universities, representatives of public circles and diplomatic missions, accredited at the UN and other international organizations in New York.

At the presentation, it was noted that 2012 in Uzbekistan is dedicated to support of young families to strengthen and develop family institute, strengthen support to families. The participants were briefed about the project “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-toys”. (Source: UzDaily.com)
