Traditional Nationwide Hashar Held in Uzbekistan
The traditional nationwide charity hashar (joint cooperation) was held in Uzbekistan on 17 and 18 March in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 5 March.
This event that symbolizes the unity of the people and demonstrating the peace, prosperity and interethnic accord, runs at a high organizational level in all labor groups, cities and villages of the country.
Hashar has an important value in preparation for the meeting of our ancient and eternally young holiday Navruz, maintaining a stable sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country and teach the young generation to respect the ancient traditions.
March and April announced as beautification and planting months that will help to increase green space, providing the population with ecologically pure products.
Charity fund Mahalla and its field offices, more than 10 thousand citizens’ self-governing bodies – mahallas making a worthy contribution to conduct hashars at a high organizational level and involvement of people in it.
Giving attention to neighbors and relatives in connection with the national holiday and support of needy families are inherited noble qualities of the Uzbek people.
This is particularly evident in the days of nationwide charitable hashar: state and public organizations, mahalla activists, as well as entrepreneurs and farmers giving material and moral support to the low income families, visiting the elderly and sick people.
The majority of participants of the national charity hashar are the youth.
“We are actively participating in the traditional nationwide hashar. We have carried out resurfacing and landscaping works, whitewashed the trees in our lyceum’s garden. Over a thousand seedlings of fruit and flower trees were planted” says Odil Komilov, student of the academic lyceum at the Tashkent Medical Academy. (Source: UzA News Agency)
