US President George W. Bush congratulated his Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov on Eid al-Adha.

?On behalf of the US people, I frankly congratulate you and people of Uzbekistan with Eid al-Adha. As Muslims of our countries mark this holiday, this reminds us of importance of traditions shared by our people in secure secular society and freedom,? Bush said it his message.

The United States highly appraise firm support in global war against terror and are ready to continue work with the government of Uzbekistan in creation of modern political and economic institutes in the country, he stressed.
