National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz held meeting with Greg Conlon, Worley Parsons managing director for the European Region.

The partners discussed the options for Worley Parsons participation in Uzbekneftegaz’s international projects, as well as training programs for engineers. Also, the management of Uzbekneftegaz was introduced to a new Worley Parsons Uzbekistan Engineering CEO Anthony Milward.

It should be noted that in May 2010 Worley Parsons, Uztyajneftegazkhimproekt and UzLITIneftgaz signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a joint venture. In February 2011 the partners adopted a charter and foundation agreement of a joint venture Worley Parsons Uzbekistan Engineering, and on April 25 the new joint ventures were registered with the Ministry of Justice and received a certificate of registration as legal entity.

The joint venture is specializing in finding and developing new project ideas aimed at processing of natural resources based on attracting advanced technologies and foreign partners, developing the best technical solutions for major high-tech projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and energy industries.
