“Colors and flowers of my life” art exhibition of Shoirakhon Kuziyeva was organized at the Tashkent House of Photography.

The opening ceremony was attended by scientists, art historians, artists, teachers and students of higher educational institutions.

Akmal Nuriddinov, the President of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Akbar Khakimov, scholar-critic Akbar Khakimov, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Sobir Rakhmetov and others noted that large-scale work on preserving the national spirit, the progressive development of fine arts, to support activity of artists, especially women artists is carried out in the country on the initiative of the President Islam Karimov.

Respect and care of women is clearly reflected in the activity of Sh.Kuzieva. Completed portraits, still life, landscapes of the artist were exhibited not only in our country, but at the international exhibitions and biennale in China, Japan, South Korea, Greece, Germany and Russia, too.

“As other women artists, I feel a great deal of emphasis paid to the activities of women in our country. Peace and tranquility, prosperity and wealth, the atmosphere of free art, created conditions and opportunities pushes us to create constant works in art” she said.

More than fifty works of the artist, depicting our scenic nature, beautiful spring landscapes, national traditions and values, hardworking and dedicated compatriots, talented young people are being showed at the event. (Source: UzA News Agency)
