Uzbekneftegaz sums up 2011 results
Uzbekneftegaz national holding company prepared 21 structures to exploration drilling in 2011, the company said in a statement. The company said that 10 fields were commissioned for perspective-exploration drills and construction of 36 perspective-exploration wells was completed. It added that the company opened seven fields (Sherkent, Sagirtau, Darakhtli, Oydin, Ruboyi, Qaratepa and field of sticky oil and natural bitumen – Dasmanaga). Uzbekneftegaz said that 13 perspective-exploration wells were commissioned for commercial use. Calculation of reserves of Qushimcha, Chegaraqum, Matonat, Feruza, Eastern Hartum, Hartum, Sardob, Boston, Markaziy Avval and Lyalmikar was completed. Consortium of investors (Uzbekneftegaz, Lukoil, CNPC and KNOC), Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company, Lukoil Gissar Operating Company, Gazprom Zarubejneftegaz (Russia), Petronas Charigali Overseas (Malaysia), Gizzarneftegaz, Uzgazoil, Kossor Operating Company (Vietnam), KNOC, KOGAS, Daewoo Energy Central Asia (Korea Republic), Mingbulakneft and CNPC Silk Road Group LLC (China) carried out gas and oil exploration works. Foreign companies prepared eight structures to exploration drilling and four fields to deep perspective and exploration drilling. They completed construction of 10 wells. CNPC Silk Road Group LLC opened one field Sharkiy Alat. Industrial enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz, taking into account the volume of foreign investors within the product sharing agreement, increased goods production by 0.1% in 2011. The enterprises produced consumer goods for 674.1 billion soums (Exchange rate of CB 1USD-1816,76 soums) in 2011, which rose by 5% year-on-year. (Source: UzDaily.com)
