Eco Energy Center implements a number of projects using renewable energy sources
Uzbekistan pays special attention to development and widespread introduction of renewable energy sources (RES).
The Center for Innovative Research \'Eco-Energy\' of the State Committee of Uzbekistan implemented a number of renewable energy projects, including projects to improve fresh and irrigation water for residents of remote communities by raising ground waters with well pumps running on wind energy, construction of demonstration mini-hydropower plants on small streams and environmental decontamination and disposal of poultry farms on experimental plots at farms of number of regions of the country.
In 2011, in order to improve the supply of electricity to Nurata district hospital of Navoi region the Innovative Research Center \'Eco-Energy\' of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Nature Protection manufactured and commissioned wind-solar hybrid plant. The system is used to provide electrical power equipment for lighting and medical equipment (respirator, coagulator, suction, ECG, microscope, defibrillator, etc.).
In addition, works on the construction and commissioning of solar photovoltaic plants at Ahunbabaev and Istarin rural medical stations of Qiziriq district, Chilonzor and Hujabulgan rural medical stations of Baisun district of Surkhandarya region are completed.
The Center constructed, installed and commissioned solar photovoltaic plant in rural medical stations of Ahunbabaev Association of Mirzobod district of Syrdaryo region, nursing home of Chelek city, Payarik district of Samarkand region, medical center Hilol of Qarshi tuman, Qashkadaryo region.
