Kamolot third Congress completed
Third Congress of Kamolot Public Youth Movement took place at the Youth Palace in Tashkent on 23 December.
Delegates of district, municipal and regional offices of Kamolot, members of the Senate and Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, officials of ministries, agencies and public organizations, representatives of various sectors of the economy, spiritual, educational spheres and the media took part in it.
They visited the Independence Square and laid flowers to the Monument of Independence and Humanism.
Chairman of the Central council of Kamolot youth movement B.Ganiyev made a speech on the activities of Kamolot for the past five years and the next tasks.
More than 15 thousand primary organizations uniting 5.5 youth operate in all schools, factories, farms, government, public, private organizations and institutions, regardless of their form of ownership.
Thousands of young people acquire a variety of professions each year in the youth social service centers operating in district and city councils. Nearly 40 percent of these centers set up in remote villages. Job fairs are regularly held in order to provide youth employment together with partner organizations.
District, city and provincial offices of the Republican Children’s Organization Kamalak created at Kamolot, unite over 2.2 million school children.
Participants of the congress elaborated on the shortcomings in the work of Kamolot, exchanged views on the basic objectives and tasks defined in the statutes and programs of the youth movement, as well as ways to solve them.
These key areas are reflected in the revised Charter and Program of the movement presented for discussion to the delegates of the congress.
First Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of Kamolot F.Muhammedjonova briefed on the draft of these documents.
Chairman of the Central Auditing Commission of Kamolot Public Youth Movement R.Ergashev also made a speech with his report on the activities of the commission during the accounting period.
After discussion, the delegates adopted the Charter and Program of Kamolot in the new edition.
New membership of the Central Council of Public Youth Movement Kamolot selected and B.Ganiyev was elected as its chairman.
