In an interview with Jahon I.A. Executive Secretary of the Association of Medical Workers (AMW) of the Republic of Korea, Ahn Hyun stated about this.

Well-established in the country a system of mothers and children surveys, providing them with prenatal services, according to Ahn Hyun, allowing early identification of the disease and successfully deal with them.
- As a result of measures taken in the country there is a reduction of maternal and infant mortality. According to these indicators Uzbekistan fully reached the relevant Millennium Development Goals, a South Korean expert said.
At the present stage between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea dynamically developing mutually beneficial relations were established in many areas, including in the field of medicine. Speaking about cooperation in the field Ahn Hyun stressed that the parties are currently implementing a joint project to build in the city of Tashkent, the modern multi-children\'s center, which will be equipped with the latest technology and will be the only in the CIS.
