Kyrgyz Information and Analytical Agency of Svoboda.kg posted an article devoted to the Tashkent International Forum \\\"Social protection and social integration of children with special needs\\\".
The article notes that the event was attended by the members of the Oliy Majlis, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, foreign specialists, experts, scientists, teachers and doctors.
The source informs that forum participants discussed issues of maternal and child health in the country, the full support and social protection of children with special needs, to facilitate their integration into society, to further improve the legal framework and strengthening cooperation in this field.
\\\"In the process conducted under the leadership of President Islam Karimov\\\'s reforms on education of harmoniously developed generation, enhance the physical and spiritual potential of youth, great attention is paid to the social protection of children with special needs so that they receive education along with healthy peers, their rightful place in society, as well as the training of qualified personnel for this area\\\", article says.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan keeps issues of motherhood and childhood, upbringing of healthy and harmoniously developed generation among the priorities of state policy. Presidential Decree \\\"On state program to further strengthen reproductive health, maternal health, child and adolescent in Uzbekistan for the period of 2014-2018\\\" of August 1, 2014, is an important blueprint for action in further improvement of effectiveness of measures taken in this direction.
Further, the article gives foreign participants\\\' high assessments of efforts on social protection and ensuring integration of children with special needs, providing them with all-round health and social care, realization of their creative potential.
Head of the UNICEF office in our country Robert Fudericha noted that Uzbekistan\\\'s ratification and consistent adoption of UN International Convention on the Rights of the Child indicates the equal care for all children.
Kyrgyz edition also quotes the statement of international expert Jürgen Becker (Austria). \\\"Uzbekistan has created all conditions for education of children of harmonious development of personality, including boys and girls with special needs, - he said. - Formed a model system for the implementation of cooperation with the European Union project \\\"Inclusive Education for Children with Special Needs in Uzbekistan\\\", which plays an important role in the social protection of the young generation, as well as promoting the development of sustainable and long-term strategy to ensure effective resolution of questions in this sphere\\\" .
