Independence - the guarantor of stable development
On August 11-13, 2011, the Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber in cooperation with the Republican Military Prosecutor\'s Office held for young professionals, serving in the military prosecution authorities, scientific-practical seminar on “Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the guarantor of stable development”. It was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Defense and Emergency Situations, the staff of the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Military Prosecutor\'s Office, experts from the Republican Center of Forensic examination named after Kh.Suleimanova, professors of the Tashkent State Law Institute, as well as members of the mass media. During the event, the participants were provided with detailed information about the meaning achievements of Uzbekistan national independence, the nature and content of the national idea and the basic directions of development of the country. Analyses were made on the main priorities of incremental reforms undertaken in the country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 20 years of independent development. They also talked about systemic change aimed at the renewal of society, building a democratic state, improving the market economy, preservation for future generations, national and spiritual values of our people, improving living standards, acquisition of Uzbekistan its rightful place in the world community. It was noted that from the first years of independence Uzbekistan has chosen its own path of development. Over the past 20 years, the country has enormous changes. The basis of change was based on the developed by the President Islam Karimov “Uzbek model” of development of the country, which is consistently implemented in all spheres of public life. Through the implementation of the developed by the head of state of the five principles of building civil society and rule of law, the practical implementation of the principle “from a strong state – to a strong civil society”, our country in a historically short period passed a distance equal to ages. During the workshop was held an exchange of views on further improving the professional skills of young professionals in the Republican Military Prosecutor\'s Office, strengthening their accountability. Participants of the event - young professionals got comprehensive answers to the questions that interested them. As the result of the workshop, appropriate recommendations were adopted by the committee.
