\"OVER THE YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE, UZBEKISTAN TOOK THE DIFFICULT, BUT AT THE SAME TIME GLORIOUS PATH\"
Theses announced by President Islam Karimov during his visit to Namangan and Ferghana regions on September 29-30, 2015, excited great interest among the expert and analytical circles of Israel. So, some of them shared their views and comments in an interview with Jahon Information Agency.
Amnon Cohen, former member of the Knesset (parliament):
- Far-sightedness of head of your country is in that he has chosen development strategy taking into account the features of the natural environment, historical experience, hard work, talent, tolerance, perseverance, humanity and unrivaled hospitality of Uzbek people. The leader of the ancient and yet young independent state abandoned the policy of \"haste\", \"jumps\" and momentary solution. Any step, any decision has been thought out carefully, the correct action plan elaborated on the basis of a comprehensive analysis and total assessment.
Uzbekistan has made great efforts to ensure country\'s lasting peace and stability. The state is on its own path of development. Enormous advances in the improvement of towns and villages, well-being and prosperity of families - all of these is the result of the right external and domestic policy.
From the early years of independence, sphere of education of harmoniously developed generation has been identified as one of the priorities of state policy. President Islam Karimov has always posed the issues of health, education, education, children\'s happiness and their future in the first place.
The country can be justifiably proud of the achievements in urban planning. As a person who has visited your republic, I can undoubtedly say that over the years of independence, Uzbekistan took the difficult, but at the same time glorious path from an agrarian appendage of the once great empire to industrially developed countries, demonstrating high rates of economic growth.
Mordehai Kimyagarov, Chairman of the public organization \"Asia Merkaz - Israel\":
- President of Uzbekistan at the meetings with the residents of Namangan and Ferghana regions put forward 10 key provisions of state\'s socio-economic strategy.
In meetings with the heads of administrative centers and citizens of the region, Islam Karimov simply, in accessible language and at the same time with a deep scientific analysis on real facts he emphasized the enormous achievements of the republic and put before the people a new specific goals and objectives. The main thing at all points of his speech - is to take care of a man.
Janna Kadyrova, Member of the city council of the city of Ashkelon, Artistic director of the Uzbek dance group \"Star of the East\":
- I acquainted enthusiastically with the results of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Namangan and Ferghana regions. I was born on the Uzbek land, this is my first homeland and I am always interested in everything that is happening there.
Uzbekistan is booming and every day is becoming more developed, secular, democratic state in Central Asia. I am always amazed at the special attention paid by the head of the republic\'s development of Ferghana Valley. The correct policy and strategy based on five famous principles, recognized worldwide as the Uzbek model, has become, in essence, a road map for constructing a prosperous social and economic life, and the phased implementation of important reforms in all spheres.
From the early years of independence, the issue of education of harmoniously developed generation has been identified among the priorities of state policy. Without exaggeration we can say that the words expressed by the President that \"our children need to be better, smarter, wiser and certainly happier than us\" are the basis of this strategy.
Undoubtedly, one of the most important property of the republic is stability, which has become the key to all success and transformation. Interethnic and civil consent remains the guarantor of peace and tranquility on Uzbek land.
