Strategy of socio-economic development implemented by Uzbekistan is of great interest in the Malaysian academic and business community.

In particular, according to Max Say, First Vice-President of the Institute of Asian Strategy and Leadership, large-scale reform conducted under the leadership of President Islam Karimov on ensuring reliable protection of private property, small business and private entrepreneurship, the removal of barriers to their rapid development will bring positive results in the development of the country\'s economy in the near future.

He emphasized the progress made in establishing legal framework that protects private property rights.

- The adoption of more than 15 laws and amendments to more than 40 legal acts in a rather short period testifies to the great attention paid by the leadership of Uzbekistan this area, - the expert said.

Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic and International Studies, Stephen Wong praised the ongoing importance in our country program for the further reform of structural transformation and diversification of the economy in the 2015-2019.

- At a time when the global economy remains volatile, and the pace of growth has slowed, Uzbekistan has developed and is implementing a long-term development program. The country continues large-scale structural reforms, strengthening market mechanisms, export potential. In addition, the steadily increasing amounts of foreign investment. It is a great help for the country\'s economic growth in the medium and long term.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia Mohamed, Izat Emir expressed his admiration for the fact that over the past eleven years, the GDP growth rate consistently exceeds 8%.

- One of the factors for this success was the far-sighted policy of President Islam Karimov, aimed at all possible support to small business and private entrepreneurship, giving them greater freedom. Abolition of the majority of licensing procedures, many kinds of licensed activities, statistical and tax reporting, and reduced fees for issuing of permits show the scale of the country\'s work. As a result of government and business are partners support each other, work together to solve problems - I.Emir says.
